What are your interests outside of work?

Spending time with my friends and family, caring for my cat and dog, traveling, trying new foods, spending time outside, watching tv and movies, and going to farmers' markets/street fairs.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

Spending time with friends, family and pets. I feel my best when I'm caring for others and around people who care for me.

What book have you read more than once?

Daring Greatly by Brené Brown. I love Brené Brown and find inspiration in her research.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

AmeriCorps, I served with the program for a year and I love the hands on work they provide communities, families, and individuals. The program makes a tangible difference in the lives they serve and a difference in the lives of those who are serving.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by having a healthy balance of time alone and time with loved ones and friends. I also enjoy traveling and trying new things such as shark cave diving, ziplining, and bungee jumping! I just recently became more adventurous and feel so proud of myself after I've done something that scares me a bit.

Do you have any pets?

Yes! I have a golden retriever and a tabby/siamese cat. They bring me so much joy. We recently brought our dog to an event called Goldie Palooza. It was so funny seeing him in a sea of over 500 other golden retrievers. He had the time of his life! My cat is just so sweet and is very vocal. She greets me at the door whenever I get home and loves cuddling.
