My Therapy Style

It's normal for the thought of therapy to be intimidating! I'm here to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment to more freely explore the things that are bothering you. I will help empower you on the path to figuring it out and living a more authentic life. In addition to your own treatment goals, I try to build awareness of healthy boundaries with other people, things, and even yourself. My style is very client-centered, and although I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), my therapeutic approach varies depending on the needs of my client. You're in the driver's seat, and we can take this as fast or slow as you want to.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I grew up not knowing much about therapy since it's usually a taboo part of my culture. The more classes I took in school, the bigger my interest became, and I fell in love with the meaningful work the more I did it. I'm really passionate about working with those from my background, and I hope to normalize taking care of your mental health across all cultures alike.

What are your interests outside of work?

I love movies with friends, walking around stores for fun, collecting designer toys, and group meals.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I try to give myself a daily treat, whether it's a boba milk tea, ice cream, guilty pleasure TV show or movie, or freely walking around Target without an agenda. I also like to journal regularly.

Do you have any pets?

I have 2 cats and plan on getting another dog in the future! My 18-year-old German Shepherd Husky mix just passed away recently.
