My Therapy Style

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I make the full effort to meet my clients at their stage in life. My therapeutic approach incorporates the integration of my client’s background, self-identity, values, gender, culture, and life experiences. Working with various adults, adolescents, and families has given me the skills to provide a therapeutic experience for my clients that is insightful and non-judgmental.

My goal is to provide the most comprehensive type of treatment that is tailored to the needs of my clients utilizing several modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused, and Strengths and Mindfulness-based approaches. I look forward to meeting and getting to know more about you.

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional to break the stigma of mental health and become an advocate for change in a person's life.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy gardening, connecting with family/friends, and enjoying a cup of coffee while reading a good book.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I make the effort to utilize “grateful contemplation” as a source of reflection and self-care.
