My Therapy Style

If you have the willingness to consider new perspectives, collaborate, and take small positive actions, let's connect. For the last 16 years, I’ve specialized in treating adults struggling with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions. Recovery from eating disorders, depression, and anxiety is a process not an event. I will help you make those changes. I bring curiosity, compassion, as well as active support to sessions. We’ll focus on your strengths, expand on these, and learn new skills and strategies to build a better life.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

Struggles can feel daunting, but I understand how to persist. I deeply respect and enjoy the people I see and their stories of survival.

What are your interests outside of work?

Trying new things! Traveling, snorkeling, dancing, and all kinds of museums.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Get enough sleep—it's the foundation of my best days.

What book have you read more than once?

My favorite re-read is always poetry, but I especially love to listen to it read aloud on the podcast, Poetry Unbound.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

My favorite organizations support arts, communities, and activism. Self-Help Graphics in Los Angeles stands out in all these areas.

How do you recharge?

Walking in nature, making art, and talking to people I love.

Do you have any pets?

While sitting on a bench observing dogs with the intention of rescuing one, an older lab mix jumped up next to me and put his paws on my lap. We went home together that day.
