Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional to help break stigma and bring awareness about mental health issues in BIPOC (black, indigenous, people of color) communities.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, you can find me doing yoga, reading, hiking, or exploring a new city.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Everyday I practice gratitude and start my day with affirmations.

What book have you read more than once?

I have read Attached by Amir Levine twice just in case I missed something the first time.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

My favorite organization is Bright Prospect, Bright Prospect empowers low-income, first-generation students to gain admission, succeed and graduate from four-year colleges and universities by providing a comprehensive counseling and support system throughout their high school and college years.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by doing yoga and traveling to new places.

Do you have any pets?

I have a pug mix, my favorite story involves any animal doing anything silly.
