I look for strengths and areas of resilience and am a strong believer in the capacity for life-long growth. I consider it a privilege to be a part of my patients' journeys.

Why did you become a mental health professional?

Initially, I was drawn in by my interest in human behavior, emotion, and the brain.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy walking, hiking, trying new foods, swimming, reading, and spending time with my family.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Take walks.

What book have you read more than once?

Irvin Yalom's The Gift of Therapy. It has provided new insights and perspectives every time I read it.

Do you have any pets?

I have a pet rabbit. She has been a solid companion and has moved with me many times and relocated across the country twice!
