MSW - Social Work, University of Southern California
My interests outside of work include spending time with my family, traveling, reading, especially romance novels, playing word puzzles, and animal welfare.
One thing that I do every day that supports my mental well being is stretching. This simple body movement helps shift the energy in my body and allows me a few moments to be present in body and address my physical and emotional needs.
I recharge by going on a walk. Being outside and engaging with the community is very helpful. Going on a vacation would be the next form of recharging.
I had a dog, her name was Honey-Lu, she passed away 4 years ago. My favorite story with her was when I took her out for frozen yogurt one night many years ago, and had the singer Sia come up to us because Honey-Lu had reminded her of her own dog. Sia is one of my favorite performers so this was a big deal and a great story.
