As a therapist, I take pride in creating a space where clients can explore, heal, and process their thoughts and feelings in a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment. At my core, I am a relational therapist who will bring in a Strength-Based approach and incorporate mindfulness into sessions as well. It is important for me to meet my clients where they are, and collaborate with them so they get the most out of their time in therapy.
With well over a decade’s worth of experience, and meeting clients at various moments in their lives, I find myself being more of a guide in the therapeutic process than anything else. I do incorporate the various training I have received in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy over the years to help bolster and empower my clients to create adaptive skills that allow them to be their most authentic selves.

I became a mental health professional to give back in some way in whatever career I chose. I knew I wanted to reduce the stigma of mental health treatment and to be that safe space for those who need it. The field of mental health would also provide space for me to be included in change and a positive impact over time on the macro and micro scale.
My interests outside of work include spending time with my loved ones, traveling when I can, taking care of my many houseplants, listening to music and podcasts, cooking, working out, and reading as much as possible.
The one thing I do daily that supports my mental and emotional well-being is going for a walk outside every morning.
The book I have read more than once is The Runaway, it's a story about change and how a young girl has a hard time with it until she finds friends and builds a community. It was also one of my first chapter books, which I still have today, so it is quite special to me.
My favorite organization is the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF). It is near and dear to my heart, because of the mission and message to help children and their families in villages all over Armenia.
I recharge by reading or watching TV while sipping on tea at night.
I have a dog that is almost two years old. I think my favorite part of having him to seeing him grow up and discover the world around him!
