I have training in many theoretical approaches and tend to work from an eclectic orientation. I believe in client-centered care, and enjoy supporting individuals through therapy. My primary goal always is to hear you and to understand your life from your perspective. I believe that with the appropriate therapeutic support, we can all become more skilled at navigating through difficult times, as well make effective and enduring life changes. Honesty, kindness, and humor are core values of mine. I have worked with people from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Time with family and friends, travel and photography. For me there is nothing better than a good laugh. I once took a three-week road trip along Route 66, and took some of the best and funniest photos of my life.

I've read Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte - once in High School, once for a literature course in College. I most recently picked it up again during the lockdown portion of the pandemic. I was curious to see if the characters, the story and prose help up against time.

I have a dog and two cats. The cats are sisters that my family adopted from a ranch near Pinnacles National Park as kittens. Just recently, one of them disappeared for two weeks. After this painful time, and assuming she was "gone", she just showed up at the front door one morning. The joy of having her back helped to remind me of how special many of the relationships in our lives truly are.
