Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I've always naturally assumed a supportive role, offering empathy and assistance to friends, peers, and community. My genuine passion for helping others, coupled with a deep curiosity about people's stories, led me to pursue this career. I find fulfillment in making a positive impact on others' lives and feel a natural inclination to empathize. My experiences suggest a talent for connecting with and supporting others, which I aim to leverage in therapeutic settings.

What are your interests outside of work?

I'm passionate about jazz, writing poetry, and creating art. The soothing sound of live music has a calming effect on my soul.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I strive to meditate daily, as I believe it's a beneficial practice for mental and emotional well-being.

How do you recharge?

I rejuvenate by cherishing moments alone with my thoughts. An evening stroll in the park is also a favorite way for me to unwind and recharge.
