My primary goal is to cultivate a space where clients feel not only comfortable but fully supported.

My Therapy Style

My primary goal is to cultivate a space where clients feel not only comfortable but fully supported. This is achieved through reinforcing the therapeutic relationship and the provision of nonjudgmental insights. Clients can expect a unique strength-focused approach that prioritizes the identification and utilization of their strengths. This approach goes beyond individual strengths, extending its reach to include social and community networks, and nurturing a holistic and multidisciplinary outlook. Together, we work to promote the well-being of this person, focusing on their inherent strengths rather than dwelling on deficits.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

During my formative years, conversations surrounding mental health were often met with disapproval. It became evident to me at a young age that there was an ongoing cycle of trauma and a reluctance to openly express one's thoughts and emotions. This pattern of behavior not only hindered personal growth but also created a constrained environment in which individuals struggled to flourish.

My journey into the field of therapy was fueled by a growing awareness of the pervasive stigmas associated with mental health. This awareness, combined with both personal and professional experiences, has equipped me with a unique perspective. I am driven to help my clients navigate the complexities of life, providing support and guidance in negotiating various spaces and interacting with diverse individuals.

In essence, my passion for therapy stems from a commitment to breaking down the barriers that impede open discussions about mental health. By fostering a safe and non-judgmental space, I aim to empower individuals to embrace their authentic selves and overcome the challenges that may arise on their journey toward personal growth and well-being.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy attending music festivals, attempting new food recipes, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and taking trips to Disneyland.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I dedicate around 15-20 minutes to engage in stretching exercises, mindful breathing, and affirming positive thoughts. This ritual serves as a motivational and preparatory routine, setting a positive tone for whatever challenges or opportunities the day may present.

How do you recharge?

I actively engage in health and fitness. I take pleasure in pushing my physical and mental limits through participation in challenging Pilates and cycling classes.
