My treatment approach varies and is individualized as I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a client-centered, or Mindfulness-based approach. Although my treatment approach varies, I firmly believe in the importance of getting to know the whole person and their uniqueness and removing labels and judgments associated with them. I am a strong believer and advocate of mindfulness and will bring this positive energy and quality to help my clients.

Why did you become a mental health professional?

After many years of experience in this field, I have come to learn that helping people become the best version of themselves is a privilege, an honor, and a responsibility that should not be taken lightly. The opportunity to take on this challenge has been my source of motivation day in and day out.

What are your interests outside of work?

I love spending time with my family and having quality time with my girls. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Exercise and meditation.

What book have you read more than once?

The Power Of Now by Eckhart Tolle. I am a strong believer and advocate of mindfulness, and this book always helps keep me on the right track.

How do you recharge?

I can recharge myself by creating a space for myself to be alone and do things that feed my soul, such as walking, listening to podcasts, taking care of my home/environment, going to Trader Joe’s to buy healthy food and flowers, doing my hair, doing my nails, being with people who care about me, and spending time with my girls
