My Therapy Style

I have over 10 years of experience helping individuals just like you, who are suffering from anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns, live a better, healthier and happier life, while reducing the symptoms of worry and stress. We will work together to bring about your desired changes, that's needed for you to get back to a productive life. You don't have to suffer in silence, your symptoms of anxiety and depression can be adequately treated. As we work together, we will focus on your specific symptoms and work towards creating a treatment plan to help you manage your symptoms and work towards your goals.

My pride and joy comes from seeing my clients overcome struggles and symptoms that once seemed so insurmountable. I believe that you can live a more productive and happier life, if you take this opportunity to explore your feelings and darkest moments, with someone that understands and can help. Don't allow another day to pass by. This is your time to take control of your life and your mental health. Whether you are looking to navigating relationships, family and other personal conflicts, or looking to take a deeper dive into your inner most self, I am here to help. Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a therapist like most of my colleagues in this field, to help others, and while this is true, my passion was and still is to empower, inspire and encourage, people everywhere. Growing up in Brooklyn, I never imagined that I could be a therapist, and make a lasting impact of the lives of others, in the way that I do now. There were no therapist of color that I knew off, when I was growing up, and I knew that one day I wanted people of color to have the choices, that I didn't. Having clients like you, who are ready to show up for yourself and do the work, is why I wanted to become a therapist. Knowing that I can be available for other people of color in this way, was and still is very important to me. My goal is to help all my clients get to where they want to in life, to grow and change into the amazing individuals, that they want to become and to live their best life now.

What are your interests outside of work?

When I am not in the virtual room, I enjoy traveling and exploring the world, some of my favorite visited places include New Zealand, Africa and Venice Italy. I am a self-proclaimed foodie, who enjoys great cuisines and exploring food through different cultures and customs.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I practice a daily routine of prayers and meditations, before starting my day. This helps me feel empowered and ready to tackle my day, and whatever it may bring.

How do you recharge?

In order for me to totally recharge, I unplug both physically and mentally from my norm. I vacation several times throughout the year, usually in a relaxing atmosphere, such as the Caribbean. I'll often incorporate massages, walks, and beach time, during my stay. This helps me to totally recharge and rejuvenate myself, until the next time.
