Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I have always been intrigued how an individual's thoughts, beliefs, and feelings impact their actions and decisions. At an early age, I aspired to help others find their purpose in life and to live a well balance and healthy life.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy traveling, playing tennis, ballroom and Latin dancing, walking on the beach and looking for shells.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Before getting out of bed, I spend quiet time in prayer and do some light stretching. I participate in some type of physical activity whether it be playing tennis or a barre class. I also connect with my elderly mother by the end of the day through text, phone, or FaceTime.

How do you recharge?

I take naps to recharge. In the afternoon, I feel like I am fading away and my brain is telling me to take a break.
