Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Motivational interviewing (MI), Relational, Solution-focused, Strengths-based
My approach to counseling focuses on personal wellness and resiliency, with an emphasis on helping clients identify and gain skills for coping more effectively with life's challenges. My clinical interests include anxiety, grief and loss, academic distress, relationship issues, depression, diversity, multiculturalism, and social justice. While I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the diversity of my training allowed me to cater my interventions to meet the unique needs of my clients. Looking forward to meeting you!
