My Therapy Style

My goal as a therapist is to assist people in achieving fulfillment and empowerment in their lives. Sessions aim to create a genuine, safe and supportive environment for people to feel comfortable expressing themselves. I utilize a therapeutic approach that promotes a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I have specific training in the use of cognitive behavioral therapy interventions which I use with people I work with in resolving their current and future problems.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I have always enjoyed helping people since I was young. When it was time to pick a profession after my undergrad I knew I wanted to become a licensed therapist and help people on a more significant and personal level.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my four month baby and my wife. I enjoy spending time at the golf range or playing a round of golf with my family and friends.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I try and exercise every day.

How do you recharge?

I like to travel to usually warm environments by the ocean. I always come back from my travels recharged and ready to get back into work.

Do you have any pets?

My wife and I own two Yorkshire terriers that were the joy of our lives before we welcomed our baby. They are still very important to us even with a newborn and we love them very much. One story I can tell you is when one time we went out to dinner with a group of friends one night. While we were gone one of our dogs found its way to the fish oil pills we stored in the bottom cabinet in our restroom. When we returned home with our friends there was fish oil throughout our home. The dog was fine but we had a fishy smell in our house for quite some time.
