Therapy Style

My first clinical supervisor taught me that, "the healing is in the relationship", which I've found to be true and essential in my work to support others' capacity to overcome their life challenges. I focus on creating safety for my clients to show up as they are. We work to identify and manage intense emotions, navigate experiences that hinder their peace and sense of fulfillment and, explore new perspectives of themselves and their worlds. My goal is to honor and increase my clients' sense of agency and support them in creating a fulfilling relationship with themselves, which ultimately improves their relationships with others.
