My Therapy Style

Recognizing you've had enough of a difficult situation is a powerful position to be in. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, feeling stuck, or having difficulties navigating the challenges in your life, I can help! With years of experience supporting people through depression, anxiety, emotional turmoil, and life transitions, I know it can be different! And it can bring immense relief to get support and not feel alone, overwhelmed, or stuck anymore. At the heart of my approach is the belief that every person is the expert in their lives, and has an innate value, and ability to bring about the change they want to see.

In my practice, I blend a warm, compassionate, and respectful approach, along with solid clinical practice experience. Clients find that the act of talking in therapy provides a sense of empowerment, and a wealth of information which in turn brings clarity about what to do. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship, a belief in cultural humility, and using Solution-Focused therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and feedback-informed care, to drive positive change. My special areas of focus include work concerns and work stress, chronic health issues, parenting struggles, grief and loss, life transitions, and personal growth.
