I have worked in health and human services in different parts of California for the past 25 years. I have specifically worked with people who need support around housing and food insecurity, opioid use or dependency, as well as child welfare and grief or loss. I have a good understanding of social services and mental health resources in the San Francisco Bay Area, especially Contra Costa County.
I have been providing virtual therapy since January 2021. Most of my experience has been in treating individuals who have experienced depression, anxiety, grief, loss, trauma, and significant life change (many related to the COVID-19 pandemic).
My counseling style is client-centered, open, and respectful; typically combining Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy and mindfulness approaches. Our interactions and your treatment plan will be tailored to fit your specific needs.
