I help my clients using a holistic approach focusing on the importance and role of self-care.

My Therapy Style

As a professional helper and healer, I have had the remarkable opportunity to be a witness to people’s stories and to guide their journeys. Over the last few years, my approach has evolved beyond exploring thoughts and feelings because those that seek mental health services want to feel better and not just manage their symptoms.

I am passionate about empowering individuals around their health and healing process. I help my clients using a holistic approach focusing on the importance and role of self-care. I utilize mind-body skills, activities (mindfulness, meditation, yoga, etc.) and one’s own strengths to guide goals of mental wellness and personal growth. I am also a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

It definitely evolved. I initially started my career engaging underserved populations specifically with children and families that were vulnerable and needed safety and basic needs support. As a clinician, I chose this work to make a direct impact and to help people feel they had some control over their own lives and empowered around their healing.

What are your interests outside of work?

I love retro style and fashion, dancing and home decorating.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I exercise and have a strong yoga practice.

What book have you read more than once?

The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. I gain and learn something new each time I revisit it.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Parsley Health. This is actually my own personal physician team. They completely changed my health and body and one of the reasons my own practice as a therapist has changed. I believe they are the model for what primary health care should be.

How do you recharge?

I love summer and being outside swimming in a pool. Water and having alone time really helps to me to recharge.
