I take a strengths approach that is free from judgment. I believe in the importance of relationships and connection. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the District of Columbia with a Master’s in Social Work from Howard University. I've worked with youth and adults who have experienced trauma. I've served clients ages 18+ with anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, and racial, and LGBTQIA+ issues. My theoretical orientation includes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), attachment-based therapy, somatic healing modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, and brain spotting.
