In my practice, I utilize a strength-based approach, focused on the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to build resilience and empower the BIPOC community. My practice focuses on treating individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, life transition, and trauma.

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I am passionate about building resilience and supporting individuals create a meaningful life through adversity. I learned the value and benefits of having at least one person that will provide support to cope with life stressors.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and creating new memories. I am passionate about traveling and learning about different cultures and trying different foods.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

I exercise daily and that helps improve my emotional well-being, I feel happy and inspire when I get to be outdoors exercising.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by using my support system to reflect on my day.
