Therapy Style

Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery that can often feel daunting to begin and my goal is to make it as comfortable as possible.

I have always enjoyed the art of deep listening. I understood from a young age that opportunities to connect with others in these meaningful ways are a true gift are some of life's luxuries. People often gravitate towards relationships that feel safe and I've had the pleasure of being that somebody in clinic, school, and hospital settings.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work I enjoy all things homemaking including cooking, decorating, and cleaning (yes, cleaning!). I find these tasks to be very grounding and I can often tap into my creativity to create a home that is loving and warm.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Daily walks and meditation help me to clear my mind for the day and bring into focus what is important to me.

What book have you read more than once?

Every year I read Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol around the holidays. Each time I read it, I come away with a new interpretation of the story and of all of the characters.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by relaxing in the sun with a good book. Psychological thrillers and historical fiction are my favorites.
