I am an avid reader and enjoy spending time reading books from many different genres, most especially psychological thrillers. I also enjoy getting my hands dirty in the garden growing vegetables and herbs. I have recently adopted a boysenberry plant and look forward to having my own sweet boysenberries next summer!
Finding time to move everyday is an integral piece of my own well-being strategy. From taking a short walk, to practicing yoga, or something even sweatier, movement is a great way to reduce stress and clear my head.
Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur. It's a beautiful book of poetry that is poignant, painful, and beautiful all at once. It's an honest and hard look at the struggles people endure, a testament of resilience.
I am currently the proud parent of a French Bulldog, Kingston. He can occasionally be heard snoring in the background. One time, while leading a virtual meditation group, he started snoring and the group had thought someone fell asleep! Needless to say, he was not invited back for future meditations!
