Get to Know Me

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy home improvement projects and shopping for treasures at flea markets and thrift shops.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I write in my journal daily. It keeps me in check with my thoughts and feelings and helps me identify positive aspects of each day.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

My favorite organization is the Make-A-Wish Foundation because of its dedication to making critically ill children's dreams come true.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by sitting by the beach and taking my dog Cooper for long walks.

Do you have any pets?

Several years ago, my children volunteered at the Humane Society for a year-long school project. On the very first day, I made sure they understood we were strictly there to volunteer and would not be getting an animal. Cooper was the first dog we walked and I immediately fell in love. My boys reminded me about the volunteer-only rule and I rebelled and brought him home with us on the very first day. We've had him for 11 years now and he is the most amazing dog ever. He has brought so much joy and unconditional love to our lives.
