My Therapy Style

As a psychologist, it is my goal to empower people to live fulfilled and happy lives. I work with individuals to help them to become active participants in meeting their therapeutic goals. My experience includes treating individuals struggling with general psychiatric symptoms, life transitions and trauma. I am specialized in both pain management and addiction treatment. No matter what the reason for therapy, I believe that establishing a secure and comfortable therapeutic relationship is essential for successful therapeutic outcomes.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

When life felt overwhelming, having the support of a psychologist enabled me to learn self-respect, self-compassion and how to advocate for myself. I became a psychologist because I wanted to give back and pass on to others what I had gained in therapy.

What are your interests outside of work?

Time with my two children, exercise and home renovation projects

Do you have any pets?

I have a French Bulldog named Rocco. He is 3 years old and always by my side. Rocco learned to swim by following me into the pool. It wasn't until he was in the deep end of the pool that he realized that he was swimming and not on land.
