My therapist is extremely kind, human-centered, engaged, and invested. I don’t feel like a transactional client, but rather, a human.
From the thoughtful intake, ease of dealing with insurance and on top of it one of the most thorough and eye-opening therapy I have ever received — I cannot recommend Octave enough.
Octave and the therapists are amazing. Everything from billing and scheduling, to the actual care, has been phenomenal.
I’ve had such an impossibly hard time — for the past eight years — finding a therapist both in my network and who I bond with. When I signed up for Octave, they provided me with an amazing in-network therapist within a day. This is truly life changing!

However, at this time, Octave does not participate in any government payor programs, including Medicare and Medicaid. We also are not able to sign any single case agreements, which means we can't provide services to anyone who is covered by these plans, even if they want to pay out of pocket. This includes Medi-Cal plans in California and Medicaid plans in New York, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, Texas, and Washington D.C.
Octave exclusively hires providers who are highly experienced and fully licensed. Each candidate undergoes a comprehensive interview process, which includes a detailed assessment by our Clinical Leadership team. As part of this evaluation, providers are required to review a clinical case study and demonstrate their ability to effectively assess clients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver culturally competent care. Additionally, all providers must pass a stringent background check and receive approval from our credentialing committee. To ensure continued excellence, providers are regularly monitored to confirm their good standing with their respective licensing boards and the National Provider Database.
