I consider my style to be a delicate balance of easy-going and down-to-business. One of my goals is to create an atmosphere where you can show up as your authentic self. Only then, will we know what path to take in our therapeutic journey. Once we know what path to explore, we will put in the work!
Sessions with me are interactive and collaborative. We will approach our session topics with curiosity and explore what you need from the session. Should we explore ways of thinking? Should we address behavioral patterns? Or should we identify and clarify emotions? I will use interventions and skills from evidence-based practices like CBT and DBT based on your specific needs. These treatment modalities are proven to work!
Lastly, I am a firm believer that a substantial part of change happens outside of the therapy session. There is no benefit in learning skills if they are not put to use. For this reason, there will be times when we will work together to create a home practice assignment that is relevant to our session and meaningful to you.
I can help you build the skills you need so that you can live a life worth living.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, preferably among tall trees. Camping is my absolute favorite!
I tend to my vegetable garden. It is so rewarding to nurture and care for a plan that one day will produce something that will nurture and care for you.
I am a dog lover and have several favorite orgs/ non-profits:
-A Purposeful Rescue
-spcaLA
-Angel CIty Pitts
-Hearts for Paws
-The PAWerful Rescue
-Pug Nation LA
Every single one of these non-profits go above and beyond in helping helpless pets find a loving home.
I have 2 pug-children and they have vastly different personalities. One of them is independent, fearless and sassy and the other is a gentle, loving, velcro dog. I have so many stories it is hard to pick just one. But, I will say, my favorite parts of the day are taking them on their morning walk and watching TV with them at night.
