Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Harm reduction, Motivational interviewing (MI), Strengths-based
I view therapy as a collaboration between client and therapist. I like to co-create an individualized treatment plan to help you reach your goals, whatever they may be. Typically, I draw from a variety of approaches, including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe each person has their own unique strengths and I like to use those as a cornerstone for helping them to improve their life. In addition, we can explore new skills and how those might help. My goal is to be flexible in my style and help meet you where you are at by tailoring my approach.

Some of my favorite interests are reading, getting outside for a hike or to the beach, and playing with my kids.
I try to take daily walks to reset mentally and physically.
I try to take some time to myself, which can be a challenge as a parent. Sometimes it's reading a book, taking a walk, or talking to a friend or family.
One charity that I like to support is the International Rescue Committee. They are a humanitarian organization that helps people across the world, such as those displaced by war or people who are experiencing famine.
