Nice to meet you
Maybe you’ve spent years pushing through difficult experiences, taking care of everyone else, or simply doing what you needed to do to survive. Now you may be dealing with the lasting effects of trauma, grief, or overwhelming life experiences and wondering how to move forward.
I especially enjoy working with adults healing from childhood and interpersonal trauma, as well as veterans, first responders, medical professionals, and others who have experienced high-stress or life-threatening situations. As a retired Air Force veteran and experienced trauma therapist, I understand that some experiences can be difficult to explain to someone who hasn’t lived them. My training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other trauma-focused approaches, and I tailor therapy to the person rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
My style is experienced, straightforward, and compassionate. We’ll make sense of what you’ve been through together and find practical ways to help you move forward.
